Applied Sociology is the study of how sociology is applied and used in the real world. In this course, we will examine case studies of applied sociological research and advocacy in various settings and locales. This course will expose you to the various agencies and organizations where sociologists often work. We will examine the various kinds of research and assistance applied sociologists do in the community.
