This course provides an overview of the U.S. legal system from a behavioral science perspective. Topics routinely covered include careers in psychology and law; theories of crime; police investigations and interrogations; eyewitness accuracy; jury decision-making; sentencing; assessing legal competence, insanity, and dangerousness; and the psychology of victims.
