This course prepares students to ethically engage in child welfare practice, applying skills in advocacy, assessment, and intervention across systems. Emphasis is placed on culturally responsive, strengths-based approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, policy impact, and promoting safety and increased well-being for children and families through professional accountability and evidence-informed strategies.
