In this course, students will examine principles of clinical hemostasis and mechanisms that lead to coagulation disorders. Laboratory testing will be applied to the diagnosis of normal status, hemorrhagic disorders, and thrombotic disorders. Antithrombotic therapies and their laboratory assessment will also be discussed.
