EDUC-G 515: ETIOLOGY, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS (3 credits)

About

Provides an overview of abnormal behavior, effects of maladaptive behavior on individuals, families, and communities, and methods of treatment. Students will be introduced to the latest version of the DSM classification system of mental disorders. Lastly, students will gain an understanding of commonly prescribed psychopharmacological medications.
