About

Introduction to total quality management is designed to provide student with an understanding of the concepts of total quality management. Methods and application of quality control techniques commonly used in manufacturing and service organizations are presented. Research and theory relevant to quality concepts such as the economics and measurement of quality, the evolution of total quality management, team building and employee empowerment, vendor relations, elementary reliability theory, customer relations and feedback, quality assurance systems, statistical quality control, preventive maintenance programs, and product safety and liability are discussed.
