This course examines the theory, research and clinical application of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This course addresses the history and development of cognitive behavioral theory and techniques including assessment and intake interview processes, CBT intervention techniques, and CBT treatment of several disorders. Relevant multicultural issues will also be discussed.
