COUN-C 602: COUNSELING SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES (3 credits)

This foundational skills-based course focuses on the development and mastery of essential counseling microskills and basic therapeutic techniques used across a variety of counseling settings and populations. Students will engage in intensive experiential learning through role-playing exercises (in-person and/or computer-based), peer counseling practice, video recording sessions, and structured skill-building activities.
