This course provides an in-depth examination of counseling approaches, interventions, and developmental considerations in working with children and adolescents. Students will explore theoretical frameworks, evidence-based practices, relevant to this population. Emphasis is placed on understanding child and adolescent development, common mental health concerns, trauma-informed care, and school/community collaboration.
