Student teams, under the supervision of university faculty or an external sponsor, choose a design project, investigate alternate solutions and submit a preliminary project design. Periodic oral and written project progress reports are required. Course topics include practical issues of software design, development, quality assurance, and deployment, as well as computing ethics and professional practice.
