MATH-H 111: MATHEMATICS FOR THE HUMANITIES (3 credits)

About

Designed for the humanities student to provide a variety of topics in mathematics, including, but not limited to: numeration systems; geometry; financial management; statistics; naive set theory. The course also provides a general, historical perspective of mathematics and development of practical application skills. Emphasis will be placed on mathematical modeling and solving word problems.
