About
The Cybersecurity and Global Policy degree program—the first of its kind—is a collaborative partnership between the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies and the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.
This Bachelor of Science degree provides an in-depth understanding of the technology behind cyber and networked systems and its global social policy implications.
Students gain a sophisticated understanding of programming, data structures, networked systems, and security protocols while also learning about the wide range of privacy, cultural, economic, legal, security, and diplomacy issues surrounding the field of cybersecurity.
Our graduates enter the job market with a knowledge of the cultural nexus from which cybersecurity challenges emerge and the technological skills to help address them. Thanks to this strong foundation, students leave ready to make an impact in any area of the world in this high-demand, rapidly expanding field.
