Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing fields in technology, and the Luddy School's M.S. in Secure Computing teaches students the many aspects of cybersecurity, including networking, access control, cryptography, forensics, human-computer interaction, and social engineering.

Our graduates have been hired by organizations including the National Security Agency, Microsoft, General Motors, and more.

The curriculum is designed to allow graduates to:

  • Develop a deep understanding of computing systems and networks.
  • Master the fundamental ideas, skills, models, and tools of cybersecurity and privacy, including technical and social approaches.
  • Get hands-on, practical experience applying security skills, usually through internships.
  • Use electives to enhance technical skills or explore areas of interest.
