This is an online program.
Students pursuing the online Bachelor of Arts in English will have a concentration in Technical and Professional Writing. This is a 100% online program with no campus attendance requirement.
This program teaches fundamental and advanced skills in all aspects of technical writing, including digital writing, technical editing, grant writing, information management, and practice in production of a range of documents, both print and digital. This includes instruction sets, brochures, websites, flyers, production-ready magazine articles, and more.
Students start with ENG W234 Technical Report Writing, move through upper-level courses, and complete their studies with ENG W470 Senior Seminar in Technical Writing.
Students also complete a required internship (ENG Y398).
