As a teacher pursuing the Graduate Certificate for Teaching English Learners, you will deepen your understanding of students' cultural and linguistic diversity.

You'll learn about second-language acquisition and development; the impact that personal, family, cultural, social, and sociopolitical factors have on language acquisition; and proven pedagogical strategies and tools that support language learning.

You will become a leader in advocating for English language learners and their families and in collaborating with other educators.
