Through the Exploratory program, you'll discover your options at IU Indianapolis and beyond.
This program helps you decide what to pursue as a major or career if you have not yet chosen one. Through this program, you'll uncover your academic and career interests to find a major and career path that drives you, all while staying on track for graduation.
Many students come to college not knowing what they want to do with the rest of their lives. The key to finding the right plan of study is to learn more about your own personality, values, and aspirations. As the program guides you through self-reflection and self-assessments, your advisor will help you align who you are with majors that may be right for you. Once you've narrowed your focus, your advisor will help you create a plan to transition into your degree-granting school.
Students in this program stay on track for graduation by taking general education courses early while they prepare to choose and transition into their major.
