Criminal Justice
About
As a Criminal Justice major, you'll get an in-depth look at the policies, procedures, and history behind the U.S. criminal justice system. The Criminal Justice major is part of the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program, which provides you with an advanced understanding of the techniques used to protect citizens and the community.
You'll complete a mix of courses covering foundational topics in criminal justice, such as criminological theory and policies, criminal law, policing, data analysis, courts, and corrections, and then select a minor that complements your area of interest, such as forensic science, pre-law, psychology, and more.
You will learn from and have the chance to conduct research with O'Neill faculty members who are examining a wide range of issues impacting our communities—from drug treatments to prison populations.
