Physics is the study of matter and energy, from the smallest scale (the study of elementary particles) to the largest (the study of the formation and evolution of stars and galaxies).
In this sense, physics is the science that underlies all other sciences.
Students who complete the Bachelor of Science in Physics Teaching program have all of the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career as a high school physics teacher.
Physics teachers are in great demand nationwide. After passing the professional exams offered by the state, you'll be fully certified to teach. Students earning their teaching certification in physics can easily find jobs almost anywhere in the country.
