Public Policy
About
Public policy impacts everyone. That's why private, public, and nonprofit organizations need employees to have the critical-thinking skills to research and understand policies.
The Public Policy major—part of the Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs—will give you the tools to help businesses and government agencies analyze and assess existing and proposed laws.
You'll study management, public finance, project management, and more. You'll also take a mix of skills-based and theoretical courses that focus on the policymaking process, information technology, performance measurement and program evaluation, and research methods.
This degree is ideal for pre-law students, allowing you to customize it with one of four concentrations: criminal justice, environmental, public health, and social equity.
