Our comprehensive curriculum covers everything you need, from legal fundamentals to the most complex concepts--plus, you'll gain the practical skills necessary to succeed in the profession.
As a McKinney Law J.D. student, you can choose a full-time or part-time program. You'll complete 90 credit hours for graduation, including core courses and specialized electives, capped off with outstanding hands-on opportunities.
Learn the basics–from civil procedure to torts, from constitutional law to legal research and writing, and from expert faculty–for a firm foundation in the law. Then, explore numerous of legal specialties through our centers and programs.
Learn real-world lawyering through our experiential learning opportunities. Work on actual cases in one of our live-client clinical programs. Participate in an externship or take a experiential learning course. Put law into practice, even before you graduate.
