About
This is an online program.
Our Postprofessional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) is an online program for practicing occupational therapists to advance their education. It's a 12-month program that's designed to allow you to continue your occupational therapy (OT) work while also earning a doctorate and improving your clinical and research knowledge.
The postprofessional OTD program offers a robust curriculum focused on changes in the healthcare field as well as teaching and enhancing skills in current and emerging areas of occupational therapy practice.
As a postprofessional OTD student, you will be able to complete your program 100 percent online and also complete an advanced practice capstone project in a focused area of your interest. Capstone projects are based on your learning objectives, potential site-specific needs, areas of interest, and evidence and gaps in the literature. You will develop, plan, implement, and disseminate your doctoral capstone under the guidance of a faculty mentor.
Advance your career, increase your understanding of OT evidence-based practice and research, and incorporate what you learn into practice at one of the nation's highest-ranked OT programs.
