As part of O'Neill's Master of Public Affairs program, the Homeland Security and Emergency Management concentration helps you become highly competitive for jobs in government agencies and other organizations focused on keeping people safe.

These organizations work strategically to prevent and mitigate natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and other issues related to public safety.

Through this MPA concentration, you will learn how to lead by making informed decisions about how to promote safer communities, including through emergency planning, hazard mitigation and avoidance, and emergency response planning.
