Our Accelerated Five-Year B.S.+ M.S. Degree Program allows you to complete complementary bachelor's and master's degree programs in record time. The accelerated program lets you double-count 9 to 12 graduate course credits toward both a bachelor's and a master's degree during your senior year.
This on-campus degree combines the B.S. in Data Science and the M.S. in Applied Data Science.
Data Science B.S.: Learn how to create, obtain, curate, manage, preserve, visualize, and build skills needed to make smart, data-driven decisions in our interconnected world.
The data science and information science specializations prepare you to work with data at every stage.
Data Science: Develop math and tech skills to analyze complex data sets and solve real-world problems. Study analytics, cloud computing, and information infrastructure.
Information Science: Develop skills to organize, access, and manage datasets. Study data curation and management, data archives, and data organization.
Applied Data Science M.S.: Gain core competencies in the latest methods of analysis, data management, and infrastructure and high-throughput data processing and storage. You'll learn methods of data mining, to transform large datasets into usable knowledge, and how to represent information visually.
