The Accelerated Five-Year B.S.+ M.S. Degree Program allows you to complete complementary bachelor's and master's degree programs in record time. The accelerated program will allow you to double-count 9 to 12 graduate course credits toward both a bachelor's and a master's degree during your senior year.
This on-campus degree combines the B.S. in Biology from the IU Indianapolis School of Science with an M.S. in Bioinformatics from Luddy Indianapolis.
Biology B.S.: Students in this program are prepared for technology careers in healthcare, science and industry.
Bioinformatics M.S.: The Luddy School's master's program allows you to work with faculty who encourage your discoveries and help you find your best path to bioinformatics jobs.
Students learn to analyze biological data and apply their analytical skills to pioneering research and industry challenges.
Use computational tools and develop applications that bridge the gap between data and discovery—in areas such as natural water resources research and genome biology.
