Prosthodontists are specialists in restoring and replacing missing or damaged teeth, including work with crowns, bridges, dentures, and more.
As a student in this program, you'll gain in-depth expertise in prosthodontics, esthetic and implant dentistry, oral rehabilitation, and more. You'll deepen your knowledge and be well-prepared to take the American Board of Prosthodontics certification exam.
The skills you acquire will enhance your clinical practice, increase your earning potential, and may open doors to teaching or research opportunities.
This three-year program is designed for applicants who hold a D.D.S., D.M.D., or an equivalent degree. Graduates earn a Master of Science in Dentistry along with a clinical certificate in prosthodontics.
Courses begin in July and include didactic and clinical coursework, oral and written qualifying exams, and a research project.
Applicants must apply through the American Dental Education Association Postdoctoral Application Support Service (ADEA PASS) and the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program.
