Interested in a healthcare career but not necessarily patient care? The Associate of Science in Health Information Technology could be right for you!
Health information combines the disciplines of medicine, information management, and information technology.
This program will allow you to become a registered health information technician, providing a variety of health information functions such as ensuring the quality, confidentiality, and completeness of patient health information; using computer applications to code diagnoses and procedures; compiling administrative and health statistics; and contributing to disease registries.
