Ready to step into the in-demand and rewarding career of education?
A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education enables you to become licensed by the State of Indiana to teach middle school and high school (grades 5-12) chemistry.
This degree offers a broad range of experiences that will prepare you for the challenges and opportunities of teaching about the world of chemistry in the 21st century.
In this program, you will have opportunities to engage in laboratory investigations with organic and inorganic materials in addition to exploring and examining methods for studying and teaching science as an inquiry process.
During your education, you will also have the opportunity to work with middle school and high school students and teachers.
