A Bachelor of Science in Geology is for you if you're looking for a career in teaching, the environmental industry, or the government sector, which includes jobs in hydrology, environmental hazard mitigation, waste management, water and air quality issues, ecology, and more. It is also ideal for those pursuing graduate school.
This program will offer you a general background in the field of geology, which is the study of the Earth, including its materials and resources, the physical and chemical processes that occur on its surface and interior, the development of landforms, and methods for studying the planet.
IU Northwest's Department of Geosciences also offers degrees in Environmental Science and Sustainability Studies.
