Master of Public Affairs

About

Become a leader and help solve some of society's most complex and changing issues with a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree.

With concentrations in Criminal Justice, Health Services Administration and Social Change, Leadership (Public Administration and Management), and Sustainability and Social Change, this degree will prepare you for successful careers in criminal justice, government, public administration/leadership, health, nonprofits, and more.

Students in our MPA program have gone on to work in the highest sectors of government after graduation, helping to enact state law changes and changes that aid others, and so much more.

If you're an undergraduate student, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU Northwest also offers undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Health Services Management, and Public Affairs, along with several undergraduate and graduate certificates.

Undergraduates meeting the requirements can also take up to 12 graduate credit hours that count toward both the undergraduate degree and the MPA degree (learn more about this accelerated bachelor's-to-MPA program).
