IU Southeast's Bachelor of Science in Spanish program develops the linguistic and intellectual agility that students need in order to thrive in an increasingly global society.
As a student, you'll choose from one of four tracks:
Hispanic Cultures for Travel and Tourism track: Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. With this track, you'll explore a wide variety of diverse Hispanic cultures in the Americas and overseas while developing your Spanish language skills.
Medical Communication track: By improving your medical communication competence in Spanish, you can help close the language gap in healthcare and improve outcomes for primarily Spanish-speaking patients.
Business track: Open yourself to a world of business opportunities by increasing your comprehension of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. With this track, you can amplify your opportunities in both domestic and international business.
Hispanic Cultures in the U.S. track: The United States is home to a rich cultural medley of over 60 million Americans of Hispanic descent. In this track, you'll develop a greater understanding of these cultures and their historical and current contributions to the U.S.
