About
Criminal justice is the system of practices and institutions of governments directed at upholding social control, deterring and mitigating crime, or sanctioning those who violate laws with criminal penalties and rehabilitation efforts. Our program is designed for students who have specific interests in the study of crime and criminology, law enforcement, crime scene investigation, the courts, correctional administration, probation, parole, or juvenile justice programs.
Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) degree programs at IU East allow students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University to earn an associate degree in a specified field and then transfer to IU with junior status to complete a bachelor's degree in the same field.
