Criminal Justice (TSAP)

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

About

This is a TSAP program.

Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) degree programs at IU Indianapolis allow students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University to earn an associate degree in a specified field and then transfer to IU with junior status to complete a bachelor's degree in the same field.

As a Criminal Justice major on the TSAP track, you'll build upon your existing Associate of Science in Criminal Justice degree at O'Neill with an in-depth look at the policies, procedures, and history behind the U.S. criminal justice system.

The Criminal Justice major is part of the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program, which provides you with an advanced understanding of the techniques used to protect citizens and the community.

You'll complete a mix of courses covering foundational topics in criminal justice, such as criminological theory and policies, criminal law, policing, data analysis, courts, and corrections. You will have the flexibility to select a minor that complements your area of interest, such as forensic science, pre-law, psychology, and more.

You will get to learn from and have the chance to conduct research with O'Neill faculty members who are examining a wide range of issues—from drug treatments to prison populations—right here in the community.
