Social Work (TSAP)
Offered at IU Indianapolis by School of Social Work.
About
Grounded in a competency-based education with field education as the signature pedagogy, Bachelor’s in Social Work students prepare for generalist social work practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities. Students pursuing this professional degree gain theory and practice knowledge, skills, and values to work with, advocate for, and research to evaluate and intervene at multiple system levels. With the program foundation based on a strong liberal arts curriculum, students gain a foundation for life-long learning to be agents of change.
Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) degree programs at IUPUI allow students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University to earn an associate degree in a specified field and then transfer to IU with junior status to complete a bachelor's degree in the same field.
