Social Work (TSAP)
Offered at IU Indianapolis by School of Social Work
About
This is a TSAP program.
Grounded in a competency-based education with field education as the signature pedagogy, our Bachelor of Social Work program prepares you for generalist social work practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
Students pursuing this professional degree gain theory and practice knowledge, skills, and values to work with and advocate for clients and to evaluate and intervene at multiple system levels. Because the program is based on a strong liberal arts curriculum, students gain a foundation for lifelong learning and how to be agents of change.
Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) degree programs at IU Indianapolis allow students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University to earn an associate degree in a specified field and then transfer to IU with junior status to complete a bachelor's degree in the same field.
