Psychology
Offered at IU Northwest by College of Arts and Sciences.
About
A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology can lead you to employment in social service agencies, personnel, sales, and various capacities in many different organizations. It is also ideal for undergraduate students -- both pre-med and non-pre-med students -- who want to pursue graduate school, which is needed for those interested in becoming career psychologists.
This program will provide you with a rigorous general background in psychology and prepare you for entrance into graduate programs, including preprofessional students interested in medicine, dentistry, or physical therapy.
This program will allow you to get hands-on learning experience and academic credit by working in community settings through our Cooperative Work Experience course, which includes work in prisons, mental health agencies, and nursing centers.
